Compliance specialist Pentagon Assurance has successfully supported Boldon-based facilities management specialists HLA Services through two ISO standards, for the fourth consecutive year.

Tyneside-based Pentagon Assurance has worked with HLA Services for around five years supporting their initial achievement of ISO 9001, the keystone of quality management systems, and ISO 14001, the standard that helps organisations improve their environmental performance and sustain growth through the efficient use of resources and reduction of wastes. Now, four years later, the business is reaping the benefits of reduced environmental risks, reduced insurance costs and increased profitability.

Tyneside based Pentagon Assurance offer a bespoke consultancy service, and have worked alongside HLA Services to establish  the changing needs of the business and create bespoke management systems in line with the requirements of UKAS for the 3-year certification cycles. This cost-effective approach allows the team at HLA to focus their resources on other key areas of the business throughout what has been a period of substantial changes.
